Launching of GMIT Empowerment Program, Inauguration of Free Nutritious Food Kitchen, and Groundbreaking of Alfa Omega Agro Park

On July 17, 2025, the Alfa Omega Foundation held a series of landmark events that mark a new milestone in service and community empowerment. The program began with the beating of the drum as the symbolic opening of the Launching of the GMIT Empowerment Program, a strategic initiative designed to strengthen congregations and communities through various fields.
This was followed by the Inauguration of the Free Nutritious Food Kitchen (MBG) in collaboration with the Maritm Flobamora Nusantara Foundation, an initiative aimed at providing healthy and nutritious meals for children.
The event continued with the Groundbreaking of the Alfa Omega Agro Park, developed in collaboration with the TLM Foundation and the Pondok Klaten Agrotourism Consultant, Central Java. The Agro Park is envisioned as a center for education, tourism, and community empowerment with an environmentally friendly approach, supporting food self-sufficiency and boosting the local economy.
In addition, GMIT introduced several new initiatives, including a broiler chicken farm in partnership with the GKI Foundation, PT MSJ, and the TLM Foundation, as well as an integrated farming program which is expected to serve as a model for congregational and community economic empowerment. GMIT also launched a scholarship program to Germany in collaboration with Global Catalis, offering opportunities not only for higher education but also for employment in Germany for young generations.
These events reaffirm the commitment of the Alfa Omega Foundation and GMIT to deliver holistic, sustainable services that foster independence and empower communities.
